MORE ABOUT

Craniosacral Therapy

With Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, the body’s own priorities for change are listened for and encouraged to arise. The art of the therapist is to connect with the underlying forces of health and facilitate a process of natural reorganisation. These forces express as subtle motion of tissues and fluids that can be felt by sensitive hands. I take a whole-person approach to healing and the inter-connectedness of mind, body and spirit are deeply acknowledged.

Health is expressed by rhythmic impulses in the body that can be palpated by sensitive hands. These motions arise at the core of the body and involve the central nervous system, the cerebrospinal fluid and the surrounding tissues and bones, including the bones of the skull and pelvis.

Physical injuries, emotional and psychological factors, and birth trauma can all be helped by craniosacral therapy. I seek the clearest and most dynamic expression of health. Through subtle, skilled touch, conscious presence and listening, freedom in the body can be restored and thus intrinsic healing follows.

Craniosacral therapy improves people's quality of life in general as well as helping with specific problems. Cranial work can also reduce stress and improve the efficient functioning of the immune system.
